I loved Into the Forest, A Maiden's Journey! It is a totally riveting story. I could not put it down. The book, which is filled with fantasy, romance and history also speaks to the Divine Feminine, healing, forgiveness and Rebirth. It is incredibly well written and I highly recommend it! A MUST read! --Irene Weinberg, Author- They Serve Bagels in Heaven, Host- Grief and Rebirth Podcast
"A Maiden's Journey captivated me from the first chapter. Elizabeth, an endearing young woman from another century, goes through many experiences; from spiritual to love and loss. I found myself rooting for her on every page and truly love the idea of a strong goddess figure. I am looking forward to the next book in this trilogy."KDM
"I loved your book! It is so well written that I couldn't put it down and read it all in one day. I have been telling others about it. Not only the great writing but also how interesting the time period and subject matter is." DS
"I just finished reading your book. Had a hard time putting it down. You captured the brutality, inequity and energy of the period brilliantly. The characters are larger than life. It grabbed my attention right away and kept it. I didn't want to read the last chapter because I didn't want it to end" AG
"The story was well written and took me in right away. The characters were intriguing and I felt like I knew them so well." LK
"I really loved your book. I love so many parts..how it was teaching about the Divine Feminine...I loved Elizabeth...and the lovemaking...some of the best scenes ever, written from the perspective of women" JAK
Into the Forest- A Maiden's Journey, is the first in the Trilogy of the Goddess series, told in historical, mystical fiction with a twist of supernatural, spiritual interlude. The story is age old and needed now more than ever as our planet awakens to the Divine Feminine power of healing, nurturing, forgiveness, liberation and re-birth in the aftermath of great revolution and evolution.
Elizabeth lives the life of royal heritage in a day and age when peasants, pagans, witches and women of great healing power were murdered as to keep the power in the hands of the religions and the royals.
Elizabeth has a deep longing and it pulls her into The Forest where she discovers the secrets and magic of Goddess worshippers.
What awaits her changes the course of her destiny and the destiny of all those to come.
This novel was written during a time when I was going through a devastating divorce, and the only way I was able to walk the path through and create anew, keeping myself and my children safe was to awaken to the divine feminine within. The images of lifetimes past kept flooding into my meditation time and the spirits of Elizabeth, her brother Henry, father Gregory and the Women of the Forest played out scenarios that I knew had happened in a long ago place and time.
It will instill in the reader, a way through whatsoever is needed as well as the deep knowing of your own divine destiny.
